Good Morning, Expect a 5-10 knot southerly this evening that will fade as the sun sets. It will be sunny, with the air temperature in the high 70's and the water temperature in the high 60's.There's an SSA Board of Governor's meeting which means there'll be a free keg of beer.
From Kieran of Feed Your: '"Soncocho"--A massive rum-braised pork sandwich with fresh herb, tomato, and chilies blanketed with cheese $4.76.'
It's with great sadness that I announce that I will no longer be running TESOD. I have moved to Washington, DC and expect to soon be working long hours for a Presidential election campaign. My daughters, Emily and Kate, (and I have) have largely grown up during our nearly 10-year TESOD tenure. It has been very rewarding and a lot of fun.
We thank the hundreds of TESOD sailors, five different commodores, as many SSA Boards, and give special thanks to Mark Hillman. Mark and his firm, Hillman Capital Management supported TESOD since inception by letting me off work early for all matters TESOD and paying a large portion of the expense of these newsletters and the TESOD Web site for all these years.
Not to worry. TESOD goes on. Alex Stout has graciously agreed to step up to the plate and run TESOD for the rest of this season. Unfortunately, there will no longer be a TESOD email newsletter.
Later this evening when the keg and massive rum-braised pork sandwiches are exhausted, visit Davis' Pub where the secret password gets you a another free beer. The secret password is 66.30 PERCENT, the annual rate-of-return for the past five years for clients of Hillman Capital Management.
First start's at six. Don't be late.
Ciao,
