At 4:30 yesterday there were severe thunderstorms warnings. I went on-line and the radar clearly showed nasty stuff bearing down on us so I mustered my mo jo and sent the whole mess south. We had crystal-clear skies and a breeze just south of west for TESOD, a TESOD with the weather mark right by the green can in front of SSA, a breeze that funneled out of Spa Creek with a peak of maybe 10 knots, a breeze that faded as the sun went down.
Nevertheless fade, the breeze enabled 11 races with wild shifts and clearly visible puddles of puff the top racers found. By 7:30 there wasn't much at all and we called it a night.

With the weather mark so close to the club and a $5 grilled sweet Italian sausage on fresh baguette, smothered with caramelized onions and a chilled can of Yuengling Lager or Lord Chesterfield from Feed-Your-Crew in the offing, there were a lot of people who never even made it on the water. What a good time was had by all.
To top the evening off, later, a whole bunch of TESOD racers went to Davis' Pub where the secret password, IMPAIRED WATERS, got them a free beer
Next Tuesday we're going to do it again. First start's at six. Don't be late.
Ciao,
Alden Bugly
