12 June 2002
Good Morning,
At six o'clock on the TESOD race course the wind was from 180—210 degrees at 10 knots. The course, if you don't mind my saying so, was just about perfect, producing 13 races for 55 boats: windward/leeward, triangle, and Olympic.

55Nine Vanguard 15s. That's great. In several races we gave them an exclusive start.
We're now using the bright-orange Fawcett's cylinders instead of hippity-hops.
Last night marked season debuts for Mike Waters and Rick Harris. Both Laser sailors were immediatly in the thick of it and, please, note, Harris is sailing Laser number 20009 (a new Laser's number is greater than 170,000).
See the photos from last night by visiting the TESOD Web site. Click here. In Photo P007945 notice how flat Ian Burnham has his Vanguard 15 as he crosses the finish line first again.
The race committee was showered with the nicest of compliments and many Davis' beer tickets were issued. Many of you noticed my coolisimo Buffy-T speaking of which, there are a few left. Running at just over two minutes, click here to find out more.
Next Tuesday 18 June the first start is at six o'clock. Don't be late.
