S & S Mobile Marinas will provide Mobile Boat Yard services located at the Truman Waterfront Navy Basin. These services include: Setup, Launch, Haul and Break Down of boats as well as Full Valet Service for participants at Key West Race Week. Premiere Racing will manage the Truman Waterfront Navy Basin launching ramp, rafting at the inner seawall and storage of racing support trailers and trucks. Owners are required to submit applications available at: www.premiere-racing.com. S & S Mobile Marinas encourages early reservations and will schedule all reservations on a first come/first serve basis. We also provide full valet service and customized services to accommodate any of your specific needs. Any reservation taken after the date noted will be subject to an administrative fee and will have limited scheduling options. All Owners or Owner's Captains have the option of setting up their own boats as long as standard Marine safety practices and precautions are adhered to. By doing so, they release S & S Mobile Marinas from any and all liability as it relates to their boat or any other boat or property which may be damaged as a result of their activities. This includes deck-stepped boats that do not need crane services or boats that will be launched using ramp services provided by Premiere Racing. Owners who choose to use an outside service Contractor will need that Contractor to provide a valid insurance certificate to S & S Mobile Marinas by the Reservation Due Date showing a minimum of $1 million liability coverage per occurrence and $2 million aggregate. Additionally, the Contractor must provide evidence of Florida Worker's Compensation Insurance. Transport Companies must also provide evidence of Automobile Liability insurance indicating a minimum of $1 million liability per occurrence and cargo liability at $300,000 prior to the entering the property. Do this early, as it may take up to two weeks to issue a policy of this type. All Owners, Captains and Contractors that deliver boats to or use the Mobile Marina facility must sign the S & S Mobile Marina waiver form. Overall Schedule The facility opens and closes as noted. You are required to schedule your arrival date. Under no circumstances are boats to be delivered to the facility prior to the Opening Date. All boats and equipment must be removed from the facility no later than 5:00 PM on the Closing Date. Any boats or equipment not removed by the Closing Date will be moved and transportation and storage costs will be charged to your account. Mast stepping will be done using crane or man lift depending on boat/mast type. Launching will begin as noted and continue through Saturday with expanded hours on Friday and Saturday. Launching and Haul Out will be done using a crane. We will utilize single point for all boats capable & slings for all other boats unless Owner requests special arrangements. Haul Out and Unstepping will begin on Friday and continue through Sunday These services are by reservation only so please reserve early. Please specify your preferred dates for Rig Step, Launch and Haul Out (Rig unstepped with Haul Out) with an AM or PM preference and an alternate date on your application. S & S Mobile Marinas will provide written confirmation with your reservation number, scheduled days and times for your Rig Step/Launch and Haul Out and confirmation of other services requested prior to the Regatta. Launch Specifics When S & S Mobile Marinas launches your boat you or one of your listed agents must be present to assist with launching and to move your boat to its slip. Premiere Racing's agreement with The City of Key West and The U.S. Navy does not allow anchoring in the basin or circling for long periods of time. If you have not arranged for delivery in advance and you or your listed agent is not available to take the boat from the crane to your assigned slip, S & S Mobile Marinas will either reassign * your launch reservation or deliver your boat to your slip at the cost of $150. If we dock your boat and determine that safely docking requires the purchase of docking gear, will purchase on your behalf and charge the gear to your account with a 10% markup. To assist with your launch scheduling we will communicate with you and your agents via email and the Step & Launch Schedule Board at the yard. Please make sure we have updated contact information and check the board for the latest updates. Haul Out Specifics Since the Haul Out Reservations are assigned on a first come/first serve based on your initial request and deposit, please make your reservations early for best schedule. With your reservation provide us with your Target Date and AM or PM and we will assign your Haul Out Reservation as close to that target as possible. We will haul as many boats as possible the afternoon and early evening on Friday and continuing hauling Saturday and Sunday until all boats are hauled. If you miss your reservation we will reassign * your Haul Out Reservation. To assist with you haul out scheduling, S & S Mobile Marinas will post the haul out schedule and a means for communicating progress on the regatta Notice Board no later than Thursday afternoon. Please check the schedule for your assigned time and plan to arrive at the haul out area 45 minutes prior to your updated haul out time. Remember, The City of Key West will not permit boats to circle in the basin for long periods of time and anchoring in the basin is strictly prohibited. * Reassigning your reservation means if you miss your appointment; your reservation is moved to the next available time either at the end of the schedule on your original date or the next available time on the next day. Premium Valet Service Valet Service consists of unpacking boat/wash topsides & bottom/prep for stepping/set-up boat/dock tune to base setting/clean & wash decks/launch/deliver to slip/deliver to haul-out location/haul/unstep/pack-up boat for transport. Fees for step/launch/haul & unstep (launch/haul package) are not included in Valet rates. Slip arrangements & fees are Owner's responsibility.
